I grew up in and graduated from Groom, Texas. I also graduated from WTAMU with a degree in Kinesiology, but the opportunity to student teach did not come my way so I entered the world of nonprofits and have been doing that ever since. I worked for the American Cancer Society for 17 years. My passion is finding unique and effective ways to fundraise so that our community can benefit.
I have two adult children, Jessica and Luke and I am extremely excited about their futures! My strengths are relationship-building, making the best out of any situation, positivity, coming up with ideas, and I am very competitive. I love current events, music, movies, and sports. Big fan of The Beatles and I'm all about anything that has to do with the Texas Longhorns. I am a Dad, Brother, Friend, Co-Worker, and Fundraiser.
