United Way of Amarillo & Canyon will officially start its engines for the 2026 campaign season with a “Racing for Impact” Campaign Kickoff on Wednesday, September 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Street Toyota, 4500 S. Soncy Rd., Amarillo, TX 79119.
The racing-themed kickoff invites community members, business leaders, volunteers, campaign coordinators and donors to gather as United Way unveils its goals for the year ahead. A light breakfast, coffee and water will be provided.
This year’s “Racing for Impact” theme celebrates the momentum created when an entire community pulls together like a pit crew — every role mattering, every contribution moving the finish line closer. Funds raised during the annual campaign support programs and partner agencies working across Amarillo and Canyon in education, financial stability and health.
“Our campaign works the same way a race team does — no one crosses the finish line alone,” said Ashley Howard, Campaign Director of United Way of Amarillo & Canyon. “Racing for Impact is an invitation for every neighbor, business and volunteer in Amarillo and Canyon to take their place on the team.”
